Bailee — Founder & CEO of MAVE

MAVE began with a vision to create thoughtful silk essentials that genuinely support women’s hair and skin.

Bailee struggled to find real silk hair tools that would work for her Irish curls. There were so many satin options that were made from synthetic materials like polyester or nylon. Bailee wanted authentic silk that she felt confident sleeping in, that was breathable and real.

That's when MAVE was defined.

Upon creating her dream silk line, Bailee found immense benefits in using certified silk in her routine. As someone who struggled with acne for years, she also found that silk helped her skin clear. By being consistent with a silk bedtime routine, her hair tucked away in her bonnet led to her skincare staying on her face and her hair care products being able to stay in her hair.

Her heart behind MAVE is education, advocacy, and mindful beauty. She wants women to feel confident in what they’re wearing, connected to their routines, and beautiful in a way that feels natural and informed.

Her mission for MAVE is authentic materials, intentional design, and essentials made to last.
